The Ionic Silver Stick uses the anti-microbial effect of silver to prevent the growth of microbes in the water base.

The Ionic Silver Stick begins to function as soon as it comes into contact with water, even if the unit is switched off. When it is in contact with water the silver ions dissolve until the required concentration is reached in the water.
- The Ionic Silver Stick ensures a controlled release of silver ions, allowing for anti-microbial function in the humidifier base for the lifetime of the Ionic Silver Stick.
- The Ionic Silver Stick should be changed every year.
- The Ionic Silver Stick can be used with all AIR-O-SWISS humidifiers as well as other humidifier brands as long as it does not interfere with any mechanical parts.

View the pictures on the left to see how the Ionic Silver Stick is positioned in your humidifier. The metallic clip can be removed in all devices except in AOS 1355N, AOS 2055 and AOS 2055D.
Lifecycle indicator
To ensure proper water quality maintenance the Ionic Silver Stick has to be changed every year. As a reminder for the first time the Ionic Silver Stick is used, attach the indicator sticker found in the Ionic Silver Stick packaging to your device. Write the relevant month and year on the sticker.
